On Sunday, we rested. We first went to a nice restaurant to celebrate Olga’s birthday. After eating an incredibly tasty meal, we walked around Warsaw’s Market Square in the old city. This square is full of history and has been literally rebuilt brick by brick following the devastation of World War II. Check out my video below to get an idea of what Warsaw’s old city is like!
There is still much work to do. As I type this, I am gathering resources and preparing to once again travel to Warsaw next weekend. My mom, Jamie, is joining me on this trip; I’m really looking forward to her working with Olga, Anthony, and me to serve blind Ukrainian refugees.
I can’t wait to bring you more adventures and stories from Poland.
What an amazing journey. Laurel, you are a force! You have more strength and courage than anyone I have ever known!💖
This is fabulous. God Bless the incredible work you are doing! I’m sure you will be glad to have your mom close too.
